Interrobank Brooch : The Eye

Awareness is noticing what lies beyond the visible. The eye is one of the most enduring symbols across cultures, appearing in different forms throughout Anatolia, Mesopotamia and Asia. Created in dialogue with CI21’s Focus Asia, D’Evin brings together interpretations of the eye from different cultures, shaping them into a cross-cultural symbol of perception. At the heart of the design, the interrobang is reimagined where question meets affirmation. D’Evin defines strength not through physical force, but through awareness, character and uncompromising honesty with oneself. Here, the eye is less about seeing than noticing, less about looking than sensing, and less about observing than bearing witness. Strength begins with awareness.
